About the project

As New York University Medical Center’s trusted electrical contractor across its numerous buildings, Gilston Electric oversees the work for the highly-visible Langone campus transformation, including the Main Campus, Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn Lutheran and Hospital for Joint Disease.

With more than $27 million in project work, Gilston executed a complete electrical overhaul for the Medical Science Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure project, including the introduction of medium voltage distribution for the 46-acre campus and separation of emergency power.
