Gilston Electric performed as the prime contractor for Bronx Lebanon Hospital, a division of BronxCare Health System, in an emergency separation of services and multiple service replacement project. Gilston installed four Con Edison incoming service replacements and managed sub trades consisting of architectural, mechanical, BMS, fire suppression, and fire alarm.
The project included new incoming electrical services, along with all new switchgear and feeder distribution. Construction of new electrical closets allowed for code compliant emergency power separation of services, along with all required equipment and sub-systems to meet Department of Health and JCAHO requirements. The BronxCare project was performed to minimize interruptions to the operation of the facility.
